I am a research fellow of the N.1 Institute for Health and the Institute for Digital Medicine at the National University of Singapore. Using experimental methods and microeconomic theory, I study decision-making, risk, and behavior change in health and public policy. Previously, I worked at the Humboldt University of Berlin and received my PhD in economics at Tilburg University in 2016. I am an external affiliate of the Berlin Center for AI Research in Economics and Management and the Economic Science Laboratory at the University of Arizona.
My articles have been published in the European Economic Review, Games and Economic Behavior, and Economics Letters, among others. As a behavioral health economist, I am particularly interested in the study of cognitive biases and their role in the intersection of behavioral social sciences and medicine.
